In the September 2009 Issue of IDEA’s Trainer Success newsletter, I wrote an article entitled “Podcast Yourself” where I discussed in further detail about the benefits of fitness podcasting. (Once the full article is up online, I’ll add a link to it here.)

In general, podcasts can be part of any social media marketing strategy. But in fitness, professionals can utilize podcasting to strengthen their brand and their message. In fact, podcasting is one of the least used social media tools, when compared to all other social media (who doesn’t have a Facebook page or Twitter feed, right?) Podcasts can be the best tool to help differentiate a business among all the social media ‘noise’.
