I just couldn't get away. I wanted to let you know about a grassroots healthcare initiative I am heading up to help consumers find the best value for routine health care services in their area. The site encourages consumers to post true prices they paid for routine health care services, along with recommendations on the provider to share with other consumers. The site was launched in August and I am inviting everyone to participate - including the insured and uninsured. I am very interested in your comments on this project. Please spread the word - tell your friends and family about outofpocket.com. The more people that participate, the more meaningful and powerful the directory will become. Let me know what you think.
